This film was a voluntary project dedicated to saving Point Reyes; the time, effort, expenses, and editing were all donated by the filmmaker.
The biggest obstacle facing the future of Point Reyes National Seashore seems to be a complete lack of public awareness of what is taking place in this. Therefore submission to as many film festivals, particularly local festivals, is very important, as well as conducting screenings at privately hosted events. Festival submission fees range from $40 to $140 and I have exhausted my resources through the creation of the film. Therefore I'm currently raising funds to keep this project going. All donations are tax-deductible thanks to my fiscal sponsor, Independent Arts and Media. Your donation will go to the filmmaker (White Shark Video) via Independent Arts and Media and you will receive a receipt for use when writing this off your taxes. |
